Dear SECU Family House,Words cannot express the comfort we received while we were there in May. I had just lost mysecond twin nephew on May 3. Being told you have lung cancer, having to go through biopsyafter biopsy, and then losing my nephew in the middle was just too much. A friend told us about your facility. Once there, I never wanted to leave. Just knowing peoplecared enough to give, to create this place as an oasis... I wish this is how the whole worldoperated. The chapel was a source of comfort to me. The beautiful grounds, the wooden porch withrocking chairs, the waterfalls, the food, the leftovers, the kitchen - and being able to feel safe. The guest room, and all the little details, made a piece of heaven in the midst of our hell. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Becky and Brad BishopHenderson County, NC5Guest Story
